Purpose of the Position:
Under general supervision, plan, organize, and lead new model vehicle, special edition, and model year change project activities.
Essential Functions: (List all basic responsibilities related to the purpose of the position)
Develop Master Program Timing in accordance with Mercedes Development System (MDS).
Collect, adapt, and incorporate facilities construction, equipment, tooling installations, tryouts, and certification schedules to overall schedule that supports MBUSI corporate project objectives.
Assist MBUSI departments to define deliverables, measurements, and assessments within framework of MDS quality gates to support plant readiness achievement within project timing.
Develop timing schedules for Development phase trials, and W138 Production Trials.
Coordinate Development and Production Trial vehicle order management tasks with customers, Development, Sales, and related interfaces.
Control Trial vehicle order processes by:
Negotiating special order requests (option content, test/show/press vehicles, special order paints, destination, etc.)
Control vehicle orders within part availability restrictions (powertrain, options, etc.)
Develop and maintain internal and external Supplier Project information, volumes, specifications, etc.
Develop option launch packages/strategies with Product Management, Development, and plant customers for Start of Production, ramp-up, and later introductions.
Prepare Sales model type and option code restrictions communications to Sales Planning and project organizations.
Conduct project meetings for the plant project teams.
Conduct project related progress meetings to review plan v. actual status with MBUSI project teams and management.
Assist Vehicle Scheduling Team to analyze and evaluate Operative Planning (OP) and Strategic Planning (SP) program planning, in order to develop operating plans for use by MBUSI and supplier resource planning.
Make adjustments to trial schedules when required for special production requests and/or part supplies.
Develop special schedules for future model programs including production trial schedules, launch, system fill, build out, show vehicles, and new model quality hold plans.
Prepare, conduct and/or participate in project related coordination committees.
Utilize Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) methods in project planning tasks.
Represent MBUSI as project interface to project organizations at MBUSI and in Germany.
Perform tasks in accordance with the Mercedes Production System (MPS) and specific MBUSI targets.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or related area and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Previous Co-Op or internship in an environment such as Production Control, Production Program Management, Vehicle Scheduling, Project Management or related areas.
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of operations management related to efficiency optimization activities in particular regarding supply chain management
Knowledge of continuous improvement activities

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
