Purpose of the
: Under general supervision, this position is responsible
for development, maintenance, and implementation of controls systems,
standards, policies and procedures capable of delivering reliable equipment efficiency
and capable functions for the maintenance and production team at MBUSI.

the purpose of the position)
plant controls standards including software, fieldbus networks, visualization
systems, hardware, configuration and documentation.
outsourcing activities & selection of key service contractors and
in the development and implementation of maintenance training programs as
related to the controls based technologies. Deliver training in areas of
technical expertise.
controls systems life cycle and develop plans associated with them. These plans
will include rebuilds, upgrades, and replacements as required, due to
obsolescence or performance issues.
the shops with controls systems analysis, downtime problem solving, and
countermeasure plan/implementation, in order to increase shop efficiency/reduce
equipment downtime.
controls on an expert level for downtime troubleshooting and continuous
improvement projects in the shops.
and prepare for controls systems for product changes and their impact on
processes, equipment, tooling, in conjunction with supporting departments (Production,
PE, Maintenance, etc.).
improve and modify controls related equipment standards, buy-off standards and
scope of work standards. Represent MBUSI at international standard team SAK?s
to plan for future standards and improvements.? Communicate information
with plant engineering teams.
expert level support for equipment safety standards related to current
requirements and new technologies.
project management, planning, design reviews, implementation, and successful
execution of expense and capital related projects.? Includes design reviews and buy-off support.
and coordinating weekend work and shutdown activities including,
overseeing/coordinating contractors and supporting maintenance activities.
initial spare parts setup quantities for common controls equipment parts, and
establish correct inventory levels and repair strategies.
in practical problem solving and the implementation of countermeasures.
single point lessons, procedures, and guidelines relating to equipment needs.
project justifications, develop scope of work standards, and project timelines.
formal reports for the purpose of communicating problem/project status.

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in
order to qualify for position.

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or related area
and/or the equivalent combination of education or experience.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance
engineering or a related engineering field is necessary, with the above
required degree. ?Must be experienced in
automation controls (PLC), including field bus network systems.
Skills, Certifications, etc
Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.?
German Language Skills
PLCs ? Allen Bradley (Control Logix and GuardLogiz);Siemens 300, 400
and 1500 series PLC with Inegrated
Network Hardware ? Allen Bradley Stratix Switch Line, Siemens Scalence
Switch Line, I/O (i.e. Siemens ET 200s and ET 200SP,Rockwell Point I/O, etc).
Network Systems ? ControlNet, DeviceNet, EthernetIP, Profinet, Profisafe
and Profibus. This includes associated I/O configurations.
Drives-VFDs, including Servo-SEW, Lenze, Allen Bradley
Software ?Programming experience with RSLogix 5000, Siemens Step 7, Siemens
TIA Portal, Factorytalk View, Delphi, Visual Basic, VBA

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
